1. Service description
FREIGABE is a calendar synchronization service that creates blocker events across your connected Google and Microsoft calendar accounts to reflect your combined availability.
2. Account and access
To use FREIGABE you must create an account — with an email and password, or by signing in with Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Calendar access is separate from sign-in: you may connect Google or Microsoft calendars or paste iCalendar (.ics) feeds, and you must have authorization to connect or share any calendar you add to the service. Fair use of your connected accounts covers the calendars you personally manage, in the numbers an individual or a small team actually uses; it does not extend to connecting accounts at scale, reselling that access, or provisioning accounts automatically or in bulk.
3. What we do with your calendars
When you connect calendar accounts and add them to a sync group, FREIGABE reads event times and busy/free status from your calendars and creates corresponding blocker events on your other calendars. Blocker events are marked so they can be identified and managed by the service. We do not modify or delete your original events.
4. Data handling
We store only the minimum data needed to operate the sync service. We do not store event content (titles, descriptions, attendees). See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Service availability
FREIGABE is provided “as is”. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Calendar sync depends on third-party APIs (Google and Microsoft) which may experience downtime or rate limits.
6. Limitation of liability
FREIGABE and SAILBAHN GmbH are not liable for missed meetings, scheduling conflicts, or other damages arising from sync delays, failures, or inaccuracies. The service creates blocker events as a convenience — you remain responsible for your own scheduling.
7. Termination
You may stop using FREIGABE at any time by disconnecting your accounts. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vienna, Austria.
